When travelling to the snow, it is compulsory to carry chains. We use only quality Diamond chains, available from Hoy's Harrietville A-Frame Ski Centre.  Due to current regulations there is NO roadside chain hire available, only fitting. Chains must be carried in your car before commencing travel on the Hotham road from Harrietville.

Your "car maintenance booklet" to ensure that the use of chains is approved for the application/tyre size.

Look for...

The dimensions of the drive wheels of your vehicle exactly:

• the first measurement is width (e.g. 185);
• the second is tyre shoulder expressed in percentage of width (e.g. 55);
• the third is rim diameter expressed in inches (e.g. 14)
