At Hoys, we recognise that you want the best possible snow equipment and have made great efforts to supply equipment of higher than average quality. Further, our equipment is selected so that it is appropriate for the conditions. Our large range of sizes and fittings means we can accommodate just about everyone.

We select our ski range from known brands such as Atomic, Salomon, Head, Rossignol and K2.

Ski Boots

This season, we've gone all out with new super comfortable Dalbellos and high performance Head, Atomic and Salomon ski boots. We don't stock the cheapest rental boots, we stock the best. For beginners the focus is on light weight, comfortable supportive boots. For the more advanced, a standard rental boot is often too soft and may be inhibiting your progression. Our focus is on selecting the prefect boot from our huge range for every standard and every foots/leg shape. This selection can make or break your snow experience, hence we take this very seriously. Unlike most rental stores, Hoys have a huge fleet of women's ski boots.

First Timers

Welcome to our favourite sport. With Hoys help and knowledge, you will be safe, warm & comfortable. Our experience and fantastic equipment will give you the best chance of progressing and enjoying skiing. You will love it!

More advanced skiers

Why do we ski at Mt Hotham? Simply because the steep wild terrain is the best in OZ handsdown. Depending on your strength, fitness & aggression, most skiers outgrow a modern entry level ski within a fortnight. You need better skis now! The one's you're on are too soft, won't hold an edge properly and are inhibiting your progression and fun. Whilst most shops offer 2 levels of skis; entry & demo - we have a third - Premium Skis. For as little as $7 per day upgrade, you can ride a fantastic $1300 Rossignol or Atomic all mountain carve ski normally found in other store's demo fleets. This represents awesome value at $167* for 5 days. We also have a top of the range Demo ski fleet from Atomic, Salomon, Kastle & Fischer available at our Mt Hotham store at very reasonable rates.
